How to manage candidate applications from EH Jobs as a hirer

The EH Jobs platform makes it easy to manage job applications from candidates, review their profiles, and communicate seamlessly.

Steps

1. You will receive an email when a candidate expresses interest in your business.
2. Click the link provided in the email to view their full profile and introduction video.
3. You can see the candidate’s video introduction, check their availability, skills, experience, and certifications.
4. If any details are missing, tap the Ask for Details button.
5. To initiate contact, click the Message button on the candidate’s profile.
6. This will open the chat window, where you can type your message to the candidate.
7. When you click send, it will be relayed to the candidate through the EH Jobs app.
8. The candidate can reply through the EH Jobs app chat feature.
9. As a hirer, you can view the chat in your email thread as every message exchanged between you and the candidate will be recorded in an email thread for your convenience.
10. The email thread includes:
    • A copy of your messages sent via the web.
    • Responses from the candidate, relayed through the app.

Automated status updates for candidate applications

The EH Jobs platform simplifies hiring by automating updates to application statuses. These status updates keep the hiring process organised and transparent, allowing you and the candidate to track progress efficiently.

• In Progress: When you send a message to the job seeker, their application status will automatically update to In Progress to show ongoing communication.
• Hired: If you decide to hire the candidate, you can manually update their status to Hired.
• Rejected: If you choose not to proceed with the candidate, you can manually update their status to Rejected.

Reversing a Rejection

If you want to reconsider a rejected candidate, you can only reverse the status by directly messaging the job seeker again.
