Getting started with Swag Spend Account | Money

1. Search for Swag app in your Play Store and tap on Install.
2. Wait for the app to download and Tap on Open.
   
3. Enter the same email address and password that is linked to your compatible HRIS web-based profile.
   
4. Tap Log In.
   
5. Enter the authentication number sent to your mobile device, and tap Verify.
6. Enter a passcode that you create.
   
7. If you prefer, tap on Turn on Fingerprint Login, or tap on No thanks.
8. Your details will automatically link from your web-based profile.
   

Open the App Store app on your mobile device and follow the below steps to download the Swag app.

1. Search for Swag app and tap on Get.
2. Once the app has downloaded, tap on Open.
   
3. Enter the same email address and password that is linked to your web-based profile.
4. Tap Log In.
   
5. Enter the authentication number that is sent to your mobile device, and tap Verify.
6. Enter a passcode that you create, or turn on Face ID if you want when prompted.
   
7. Tap Allow, if you consent to Swag sending you notifications, or tap Not Allowed if you do not consent.
   
8. If you prefer, tap on Turn on Fingerprint Login, or tap on No thanks.
9. Your details will automatically link from your web-based profile.
   

1. Open your Swag app.
2. Tap on the Money icon.
3. Tap Account.
4. Tap Set up now.
5. If you are eligible and ready to set up your Swag Spend account, tap Set up Swag Spend Account.
   
   

   Important

   You need to be 16 years or older, an Australian citizen or resident, and you need a Australian driver’s licence or Australian passport to be eligible for a Swag Spend Account. 

6.  Select if you have any tax obligations outside of Australia.
7. Next, verify your identity. Choose Australian passport or Australian driver’s licence.

   Helpful Hint

   You can use a passport that has been expired for 3 years or less, and you can also use an expired driver's licence as a valid identity document, except for expired Tasmanian licences. You can use expired WA licences for 6 months after expiry.

8. Fill in your name as it appears on your passport or driver’s licence exactly, then tap Next.
   
   

   Helpful Hint

   It is important to fill in your name exactly as it appears on your identity document, including middle name, middle initial and matching upper case; otherwise the application will be rejected. Please see: Why was my Swag Spend Account application unsuccessful?

9. Add your mobile number, then tap Next.
10. Fill in your address details exactly as they appear on your identity document, and select Next.
    
    

    Important

    It is important to fill in your address exactly as it appears on your identity document; otherwise the application will be rejected. Please see: Why was my Swag Spend Account application unsuccessful?

    Helpful Hint

    If your identity document shows an outdated address, add in the address details as per the document, as you can update this later in the application process.

11. Fill in your date of birth, then tap Next.
12. Select the Terms and Conditions button to read.
13. Once you have read and accepted the terms and conditions, tap Accept to continue.
14. Tap Online verification terms to read, then tap Done. Once you have read and consented to the online verification terms, tick the consent box, then tap Submit.
15. Your application will then be verified, and if successful, will display this screen.
16. If your application was unsuccessful, see Why was my Swag Spend Account application unsuccessful? for troubleshooting. Click Next to add money to your Swag Spend Account and set up Pay Split.

1. Swag Spend Account offers a Visa debit card that is linked to your Swag Spend Account digital transaction account. You can also add your card to your mobile wallet via Google Pay or Apple Pay. 
2. First, set up a PIN for your Swag Spend Account with a secure 4-digit number. You will need to add your new PIN, then repeat the PIN to confirm.
3. Confirm the postal address where you would like your card sent. If you need to edit your mailing address, click the pencil icon to edit.
4. Click Send my card.
5. You will receive confirmation that your Swag Spend Account Visa debit card has been issued.
   

   Helpful Hint

   Your Swag Spend Account Visa debit card will take 7-10 business days to be delivered to your mailing address.

6. Click Next to set up Apple Pay or Google Pay.

1. Open your Swag app.
2. Tap on the Money icon.
3. Tap on Card.
4. Tap Activate card.
5. Tap Confirm on the pop-up to confirm that you have received your physical card.
6. Once activated, Card is enabled will display.

1. Add your Swag Spend Account Visa debit card to Apple Pay in your Swag app or on your device in your digital wallet section.
2. To add your Swag Spend Account Visa debit card to Apple Pay, click Add to Apple Wallet.
3. Apple will send a verification code to your mobile number.
4. Enter the Apple verification code.
5. You will have the option to add your Swag Spend Account Visa debit card to your iPhone or your Apple Watch.
6. Read Apple Pay terms and conditions and click Agree.
7. Once successful, Card Added will display. Click Next.
8. You can set the Swag Spend Account Visa debit card as your default card in Apple Pay. Choose Use as Default Card or Not Now.
9. Once complete, Card added to your wallet will display.
10. Click Next to open your Swag Spend Account.

1. Open the Google Wallet app .
2. At the bottom, tap the Add to Wallet button.
3. Tap the Payment Card button. Any cards you saved to your Google Account are shown.
4. Tap the New Credit or Debit Card button. 
5. At the bottom, tap the Save button.
6. Read the Issuer Terms and tap the Accept button.
7. If you are asked to verify your payment method, choose an option from the list.

Open the Swag app on your mobile device and follow the below steps to add your Swag Spend Account Visa Debit card to Google Pay:

1. Tap Money icon.
2. Tap on Card.
3. Tap on Add card to Google Wallet.
4. Tap Add to G Pay.
5. Tap Add.
6. Read the Issuer Terms and tap the Accept button
7. If you have an Android device, ensure that you tap Turn on NFC.
8. Tap Get Swag Spend Account.
9. Tap Done.
   
   

   Important

   After you add a card, you might find a small transaction on your account from Google Wallet which checks that your card and account are valid. This transaction will soon disappear and does not affect your balance.

1. Open the Swag app.
2. In Swag Spend Account
3. Tap on Money
4. Tap Pay.
5. Add the Account name, BSB and Account number, then tap Next.
6. Add the Amount you want to send, the Description and the Reference, then Tap Next.
7. Ensure that the details are correct, then tap Confirm.
8. Payment sent will display to confirm that the payment was successful. Tap Done to return to Swag Spend Account.

1. Login to the Swag app.
2. Tap on Money icon.
3. Tap on Income.
4. Tap on InstaPay.
5. Tap Get Instapay.
6. Enter the amount you want, minimum of $100, and tap Next.

7. Select the account you want your payment to be made to.
8. Review your request and tap the Complete Request button.
9. Tap the Got It button.

Pay Split lets you choose how and where you would like to split your salary. Get paid into your Swag Spend Account or split your pay between Swag Spend Account and your existing bank account.

1. Open your Swag app.
2. Tap on Money.
3. Tap on Income.
4. Tap Pay Split.
5. Tap Let’s split.
6. Start by choosing how much of your pay you want to split. You can choose split by percentage or split by dollar amount.
7. If you choose Split by percentage, you will be able to choose the percentage of your pay to split into your Swag Spend Account. If you choose Allocate amount, you will be able to select the amount you would like split.
8. You will see a pop-up stating that the split will automatically update your payroll details. Tap Continue.
9. Tap Done.
