How do I add or delete my Pay Split bank accounts?

Pay Split is a feature that lets you receive payments in more than one account based on a split percentage or amount. For example, you can use Pay Split to ensure the majority of your income lands in Bank Account A, while the remaining minority of it lands in Bank Account B.

If you have Pay Split, you just need to log in to the web platform to add or delete your bank accounts. You can then change the amount you send to each account either on your Swag app or by using the web platform.

Here, we focus on the latter and discuss how you can use it to both add and delete your Pay Split bank accounts. And the process is simple: just click the following two questions (or scroll down the page) to be taken straight to the answers!


How do I add my bank account details to Pay Split?

Adding bank account details to Pay Split
  1. Log into your HRIS web platform via your Employment Hero account (currently, you cannot add a bank account in the Swag app itself).
  2. Click People on the left-hand side menu.
  3. Click Profile.

  4. Click the Banking Details tab.

  5. Click Add Account.

  6. Complete the following fields:
    • Account name
    • BSB
    • Account number

  7. Click Add account and repeat the process by adding your second bank account needed for the Pay Split process.
  8. Click the % button to split your wage by percentage; or click the $ button to split by amount.
  9. Type in the percentage or amount you would like sent to each account.
  10. Click Submit.

How do I delete my bank account details from Pay Split?

Deleting bank account details
  1. Log into your HRIS web platform via your Employment Hero account (currently, you cannot add a bank account within the Swag app itself).
  2. Click People on the left-hand side menu.
  3. Click Profile.

  5. Click Remove next to the account you'd like to remove.

  6. Click Submit.

Important

The bank account that appears at the top of the listed accounts will always have the remaining funds going into it by default.

If you want to change where the remaining funds are sent, you will need to change this bank account.
