In Swag, you can boost your super by making voluntary contributions to your super account via the salary sacrifice feature. Salary sacrificing via Swag means that your employer will add your voluntary contributions to your super account before it is taxed.

Add a salary sacrifice super contribution
Add a new salary sacrifice to your super account
- Log into the Swag app.
- Tap on the Money icon.
- Tap on Super along the top bar.
- On the Super home screen, tap on Boost now.
- Once you have read the salary sacrifice blurb, you will need to select which income stream you would like your salary sacrifice to come from.
- You will need to select whether you want to contribute a percentage of your salary or a dollar amount.
- Once you have selected the amount, read and accept the declaration, then tap Next.
- You have the option to add a preserve amount. Add your preserve amount, then tap Next.
Helpful Hint
A preserve amount is an amount is the minimum amount your pay must be to be able to make a voluntary salary sacrifice super contribution.
- Select when you would like to start and stop your contributions, then tap Next.
Helpful Hint
Tick I don't want my contributions to end if you want to make ongoing contributions.
- Ensure that your details are correct, then tap Confirm.
Edit a salary sacrifice super contribution
Editing a salary sacrifice to your super account
At this stage, there is no option to edit an existing salary sacrifice contribution. You will need to cancel your existing contribution and create a new one by tapping on the plus button.

Cancelling a salary sacrifice to your super account
- Log into the Swag app.
- Tap on the Money icon.
- Tap on Super along the top bar.
- Tap on the Salary Sacrifice tile.
- If you have an active contribution set up, tap on Stop my contributions.
Helpful Hint
A contribution must be in the Active list to be stopped. If the contribution that you want to stop is in the Pending column, you will need to wait until the contribution is active, which is the contribution start date.
- Tap Confirm.
