How to use the Leave function as an employee via Payroll Work

The Leave feature in Swag allows you to see your current leave balance, submit leave requests and also see the status of any previously submitted requests. You can also change or delete a request if it is no longer relevant.

Helpful Hint

If leave management is one of your most commonly-used features, then this will appear on the Swag home screen as a shortcut for easy access.

    Helpful Hint

For open-ended leave requests, you do not need to add an End Date. If you want to submit an open-ended leave request but are ‌prompted to add an end date, speak to your admin about changing the leave settings in the HR web platform.

  2. The app will calculate how many hours or days this equates to, reliant on what your employer has set this to.
  3. You can then add notes if needed.

  4. To add an attachment, tap Add Attachment.
  5. Select to take a photo, select a photo from your camera roll, or select file for any required documentation to accompany or support your leave request.
