Getting started for Employees | Work - Payroll-only

The Work feature in the Swag app allows you to manage your leave requests, roster and shift requests, see your timesheets and payslips. In addition to this, you can clock in and out all from one place with more functionality coming. 

Accessing Swag
  1. Search Swag in the App Store for iPhone users, or the Google Play Store for Android users, or click the following based on your device:
    iOS/iPhone
    Android
  2. Open the app and log in using the same credentials you use for your payroll log in.
  3. If you have forgotten your log-in details, tap Email me a magic login link which will send you an email to your registered email address.
  4. You will be asked to set up a passcode for easy log-in next time.
The Dashboard
  1. Open the Swag app and log in using the same credentials you use for your payroll log in.
  2. Tap on the Work icon.
  3. When you open the Swag app and tap on the yellow Work icon, it is in the Home view. From here you gain a quick view of the following:

  • Last payslip. Which can be hidden or shown - simply tap the eye icon to change.
  • Last pay date.
  • Roster and shift dates.
  • Clock in/out button.
  • Leave allowance.
  • Profile/Employee files view.

Each of these views can be tapped to provide instant access to the various functions of the app, or you can use the function bar across the top of the Home screen to select: Payslips, Leave, Timesheets, Expense, Rosters or Unavailability.

There is also the option to access your profile details by tapping on your profile icon in the top right hand corner. This will lead to other options such as bank details and other organisation log in options.

To return to the Home view at any point, tap Home.

My Profile
  1. Log into the Swag app on your Android or iOS device.
  2. Tap on the Work icon.
  3. Tap on your profile photo icon or initials in the top right hand corner.myprofile01.jpg
  4. This takes you to the Profile or Employee file view.

  5. Each time you open this you will be prompted, if set up, to provide feedback to your organisation on how you found work this week.

  6. From here you can access several functions:
  • Edit profile photo
  • Personal details
  • Employment History
  • Settings
  • or Log out
How to edit my profile photo
  1. Log into the Swag app on your Android or iOS device.
  2. Tap on the Work icon.
  3. Tap on your profile photo icon or initials in the top right hand corner.pfp01.jpg
  4. In the Employee Files view, tap on the camera icon by your profile photo.

  5. You can then choose to change your profile photo by taking a new photo with your phone camera or selecting one from your photo library.  
  6. Choose the file, and select Confirm
Edit Personal Details
  1. Log into the Swag app on your Android or iOS device.
  2. Tap on the Work icon.
  3. Tap on your profile photo icon or initials in the top right hand corner.
  4. Select Personal Details.

View Employment History
  1. Log into the Swag app on your Android or iOS device.
  2. Tap on the Work icon.
  3. Tap on your profile photo icon or initials in the top right hand corner.
  4. Select Employment History.
  5. Here you will see your employment history from within your current organisation.
View my settings
  1. Log into the Swag app on your Android or iOS device.
  2. Tap on the Work icon.
  3. Tap on your profile photo icon or initials in the top right hand corner.
  4. Select Settings.
  5. Here you will see the settings subcategories:
  • Notification settings
  • Security settings
  • Language
  • Time zone
  • The legal stuff
  • Support.
